Another Medical Transcription scholarship offer is still going on in Cebu City. The scholarship program is offered by International School for Medical Transcrition and is dubbed as “The 3 Scholarship Program”. The objectives are:

• Education. To provide world-class training to deserving individuals for free.
• Employment. To provide immediate employment with a sponsor MT Company right after completion of the training.
• Empowerment. To create a pool of Medical Transcriptionists who can meet international standards and jumpstart the MT industry starting 2004.

To qualify:

• Medical course graduates such as doctors, nurses, physical/occupational therapists, medical technologists and other allied medical professionals.
• Filipino
• At least 18 years old
• With a grade point average of 85% or 2.0 and above
• Must be physically and mentally fit to undergo training.
• With demonstrated leadership abilities through participation in community service, extracurricular or other activities.
• Must not have any pending administrative or criminal charges.
• Must be of good moral character as certified by the school last attended.
